Paradise found!!

When you think of Goa, you think of a coastal hideaway with glistening dunes and turquoise waters with a shimmering sun in the background. India's beach capital has a golden coastline that views the dazzling oceans bordered by beautiful green countryside. Goa is the smallest state in the country yet one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.

Visitors traditionally know Goa as North and South Goa, with the former being the place to go if you're seeking a "happening" holiday and the latter being the place to be if you need a more relaxing respite from your stressful lifestyle. Whether you're planning a family trip, a fast weekend break with friends, or looking to spend some precious time with that special someone, Goa has all the elements for a perfect holiday recipe.

Goa is home to well over 25 amazing beaches, from the energetic party spots to the tranquil ones. North Goa has lively beaches like Baga, Calangute, Anjuna, and Arambol that border the northern coastline with tons of shacks bursting with life, selling lip-smacking Konkan cuisine with cocktails and mocktails to go with it; Goa's beaches complete your holiday experience.

South Goa is more laid-back, with tranquil beaches like Colva, Palolem, and Galgibaga (renowned as a nesting ground for Olive Ridley turtles) that are cut off from the rest of the world yet well worth a visit if you want some peace.

A three-tiered centre-piece edifice standing amid the road is an uncommon location for a museum. Nonetheless, once entering this edifice, the visitor is astounded by its collection and the information it conveys to everybody about Goa's architecture and construction patterns. The museum focuses on the architecture and designs of Goan houses as well as historical themes, and it also displays diverse sculptures and interior designs of Goan households. It does not have the scale of other Goa museums, yet it packs a punch of knowledge and art in this compact package.

My primary weakness is a fantastic gelato, and I've been known to go to great lengths to obtain one. The best gelato shop in India, I'm delighted to report, may have just been discovered.

Even if you are not a die-hard Gelato enthusiast, if you are in North Goa, you must visit this gorgeous ice cream establishment. In addition to milkshakes, ice cream cakes, fresh juice, and exquisite chocolates, they have a wide variety of delicious flavours.

Come take in the lush beauty of the coconut groves and Oh, LaLa's spacious wooden verandas! It is in a beautiful setting, just next to the backwaters. The inside decoration is also pretty exquisite.   The topmost great qualities of this restaurant are the setting, the vistas, and the instagrammable photographs.

Goa is a breathtakingly beautiful city with a welcoming and friendly population that attracts visitors from all over the world. Goa is without a doubt one of the best places to visit in India for the first time. Its laid-back charm and beach settings are enticing, and you'll want to stay forever!
