Welcome to My World of Travelling...

“Work, Travel, Save, Repeat.”

I love the planning, the anticipation, the journey, be it by plane, train, bus or boat and of course, the actual holiday and finally all the wonderful memories and experiences I bring home that live with me forever. That was the original reason why I created this blog so that I could have an online diary of my recent trips to look back on in the future. I love travelling because I believe that travelling is to escape the chaos of our lives: The expectations, routines, and demands placed upon us that make us feel like we’re constantly jammed into the PowerPoint. We can unplug no matter where we are, on the road or at home, so we can reconnect to what we love.

So recently as most of you know I travelled to the City of dreams Mumbai. Trust me it's one of the best experiences of my life. For some Mumbai is a city of freedom, for others it is a city of opportunities. For some it is a city that never sleeps, for others, it is a city with no nightlife. For some it is a city of glitz and glamour, for others, it is a city of slums and squalor. For some it is the city of vada pav and bhelpuri, for others, it is a city of fine dining. For some it is a city for the sons and daughters of the soil, for others, it is a city of migrants. For some it is a city that does not care, for others, it is a city with a never say die spirit. For some it is a city of tomorrow, for others, it is a dead city. For some, it is a city of dirty beaches, the Marine Drive and The Gateway of India, for others it is a city with a history stretching back two millennia ago.

Trust me in a span of 2 days I watched It all this city has a lot to offer and it never sleeps. The weather can be a little bit of a problem as I hate humidity but otherwise, the city is beautifully designed. I recommend doing all the silly things even if you are not a Bollywood fan just starting by admiring the houses of all the actors, surviving on Vada Pav and some crazy shopping. The city gives a vibe of a typical coastal city with old buildings and history. How can we forget the Taj Gateway it was the most iconic building of all dazzling like a star on earth.

Taj Gateway

Colaba Causeway

For the girls just do not skip shopping and street food. At the heart of Colaba lies this long stretch of road that is a shopper’s paradise. From jewellery to clothes, food to home décor, you’ll find everything and much more here. Bargaining is a part of their vocabulary, so go ahead and have some fun. Once you’re done, don’t forget to enjoy some street food on the roadside. I recommend going to the most famous place for your food craving Leopold Café. The entire vibe of the place feels like a foreign land and the food is mouth-watering it's better to go in the evening and on weekend it is hell crowded!!!

Marine Drive

After a hell taring day take a walk on Marine Drive just in some fresh and cool breeze at night just by overviewing the city lights. I believe it's the most peaceful and refreshing thing that I have done in ages. Hopefully, drawing on my personal experiences, I may be able to pass on some useful insights and travel tips to help you get the most out of your holidays and perhaps inspire some of you to visit destinations that you might not previously have thought of.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I’m already looking forward to sharing my travel stories and photos with you more now...
